Eligibility
To be eligible entrants must be between 8 and 18 years of age as at 31 December 2026.
Auditions
We invite entrants to submit their audition applications online using the online form on this page.
Awards are made at the St Cecilia Annual Concert which will be held at St Bernard’s Church.
Finalists selected by audition must attend the concert to be eligible to receive the scholarship (unless an unexpected event occurs).
Age Levels
Scholarships are divided into three age levels. Senior is for entrants who are aged between 16 and 18. Intermediate is for entrants who are aged between 13 and 15. Junior is for entrants who are aged between 8 and 12. All ages are taken as at 31 December of the audition year. Awards will normally be made for first, second, and third in each section.
Assessment
Performances will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:
- Tonal Control/Expression (25%)
- Technical Ability (25%)
- Presentation and Performance (25%)
- Stylistic interpretation (25%)
Applications
Applicants should complete an application using this online form, before 5:00pm on Friday 25th September, 2026.
Payment may be made by Direct Deposit as detailed on the application form.
Please note that late applications cannot be accepted.
